DESCRIPTION
 
The Jenday is a playful cuddler and a superb pet. This is a trusting bird, intelligent enough to learn simple tricks, and it can learn to talk, though it isn’t known as a highly proficient talker. The best attribute this bird has is its intense affection for its owner.
 
Experience Level: Beginner / Intermediate.

Expected Size: Grow around 10" - 12" from head to end of tail.

Lifespan: Have an average life expectancy of 20 - 30 years.

Behavior: This is a bird that is content to ride around on a shoulder all day, or cuddling with its owner. Handfed Jendays are not known to become nippy and can maintain a strong bond with an owner during their lifespan.

Temperament: Known for being affectionate, playful, and loyal. Being in the Aratinga family, Jendays have a close personality to Sun Conures. Aratingas are a favorite for many! Many peoples only drawbacks with Aratingas are their higher pitched vocals.
