We will never knowingly sell a baby bird with a health issue. However, in the unlikely event that a health issue is discovered within the first 72 hours from the date your baby bird is received, a claim may be submitted using our contact form.
-
We will require certification from a licensed avian veterinarian, dated within 72 hours of receipt, stating that the health issue discovered was present at the time of sale and is attributable to the breeder. Accidental injury, environmental factors, or customer neglect are not covered under this guarantee.
-
The term "baby" applies only to animals within the psittacine (parrot) order.
-
Mini Macaws and More and its owners are not responsible for any injury or death to humans or animals resulting from parrots. This includes, but is not limited to bites, chewing on electrical cords, electrical devices, plumbing, furniture, or other property.
-
Mini Macaws and More and its owners are not responsible for any damage or destruction to personal property or dwellings caused by parrots.
-
Under no circumstances will Mini Macaws and More be held responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by the customer.
-
We will not accept returns or issue credit for a bird returned for any reason other than a health-related issue. Any health-related issue must be certified by a licensed avian veterinarian and determined to have originated prior to the bird leaving our care.
-
If your bird is found deceased within 72 hours of receipt, a necropsy must be performed by a licensed avian veterinarian. A copy of the necropsy report is required.
-
Suspected avian diseases must be confirmed through testing performed by a certified avian laboratory. Documentation of test results is required.
-
Mini Macaws and More is not responsible for shipping delays, losses, injuries, or mishandling by any shipping carrier. Any shipping-related claims must be made directly by the customer with the shipping company.
-
Mini Macaws and More does not provide any health guarantee on unweaned baby birds purchased by a customer. If a customer takes possession of a bird before it is fully weaned, all health guarantees are void. Please note that all unweaned baby bird sales are final.
